Hey LB!

Just a quick update in regards to Echopet. It has been successfully installed and ready to use. Go to shop benefits and look at the ranks to see which animals you can have as pets. The command is pretty straight forward and will always be /echopet E.G /echopet pig

That's all for now except one last thing, There will no longer be an arcade server and will merge with the SMP server. So expect some arcade plugins/games on SMP server in the near future!

Secondly, Donors, you don't have to worry about logging off while you're high in the air, because now when you log back in you will stay at that height without dropping to your death!

There's also a new "Pet" plugin that will allow donors to spawn in one mob that will follow them around. Mobs range from a chicken to a wither. The higher the donor rank the better the mobs will be. The official plugin update will be announced on the 5th of June.

Last but not least, Thanks to MaverickA95, we are able to create a new server, PvP! This will also be released on the 5th of June as we are almost done with the creation of it. What is PvP? PvP is a game type in Minecraft based on raiding and killing other players. You will be able to create your own base and raid other people's bases. Griefing is allowed and there are basically no rules at all.

You may or have not noticed, but we are now running on our new dedicated machine with 32GB of Ram! This was only possible with all of the generous donations and I just want to thank every one of you for helping LegendaryBane get to where it is today. Note that this server is now located in "Philadelphia" and not "Phoenix, Arizona." They may be latency lag for players that are closer to Phoenix than Philly but the lag will hopefully be barely noticeable.

Thirdly, thanks to all those players who submitted their builds to the build contest. I promise you we will look at every one of your builds so no one will be left out. It is estimated the staff team will make their decisions sometime this weekend so make sure to submit yours before the weekends!

Throughout May, expect new plugins and gamemodes in LB! I have been putting more time into LB nowadays and I will be adding more plugins to enhance your experience at LB. So far, I have decided we will be having a Spleef arena, Team Deathmatch gamemode (PvP) and treasurehunt. Feel free to mention anything you want to see in LB and it may get put it if it is a genuine idea!

Last but not least, there is a very minimal chance that you will ever to user floauction again. :( CreativeControl and floauction do not mix together. If I let you guys use floauction there is a risk of people exploiting a glitch thus ruining the fun for other legitimate players.

Hey Legends! Today, (or yesterday, it's debatable ..) is LB's 1st birthday! One year, and we have over 2,000 legends. Insanity! This is going to be a fun week, because why celebrate it for only 1 day? There will be lots of things going on starting Saturday morning/afternoon! The staff team is organizing a bunch of things, but post here what you want to see! Anywho, thank you Legends for this big milestone! A lot of MineCraft servers can't make it a year, and a lot can't get this successful! Now, aren't you proud to be a Legend? ;D

Now before I begin this really long post, (that's what she said), I want to tell you the story of LegendaryBane.

The title is pretty self explanatory......

Instead of making this the shortest news post in the history of shortest news posts. I'll give you some TIPS to enhance your application and give you a better chance of getting mod.

1. Use proper GRAMMAR. dun tok lyk dis because it will get you REJECTED STRAIGHT AWAY.

2. Make it long. It'll make you look more professional will be more appealing to staff.

Preferably 1-2 paragraphs is enough.

3. Don't spam staff to check your mod apps, because if you do, automatic rejection.

Build Contest Reminder:

If you didn't know or didn't get to read one of the older news post, we are currently holding a Building Contest! The staff and I are judging all the builds for the best creativity. The build has to be on the LegendaryBane server though, and must not have been built with creative mode. The prizes are , a FREE rank up, extra cash, and mystery items such as high quality enchanted tools or weapons. There will be 2 winners.

For TITANS and up, I have disabled floauction temporarily due to a major glitch which could ruin the server. I hope to get this fixed soon.

Ok, I've been noticing that many people have been posting in Ban/Demotion Requests that they are NOT involved in. I'm here today to say that if you guys keep posting in things that your NOT supposed to, it can end up with you getting a ban from the site. (It has happened before) Leave those kind of forums to The staff, the witness and the accused. Witnesses must supply screenshots of the accused player doing his/her crime. (Crime as in: Swearing, or any kind of rule breaking) For those people who don't know how to upload screenshots, please refer to this forum:

Now, moving on to the other one, I've also noticed something that was already put into another forum, has been acting up recently. Lately people have been, once again, posting only ONE SENTENCED replies in the forums, I've even saw ONE WORDED replies to topics saying things like "lol." You guys are better off posting at least a two sentenced reply to things like that, for that is considered "Post Boosting." Another way to post boost is to post only one thing in multiple responses.

An example is like this:

Post 1: I couldn't agree more.

Post 2: and the fact that... (blah blah blah)

Post 3: and it was hilarious.

DON'T FREAKING DO THAT, JUST EDIT YOUR FIRST REPLY TO THE FORUM THREAD, SIMPLE.

All that I ask of some of you, is that you start following this stuff, and NOT doing thing that you shouldn't been doing on forums.

I have some great news to announce! Okay so, LB 2.0 has been a major success so far. We reached 80 players on at the same time! This is a huge milestone for LB and I wish if it just kept growing everyday. Secondly, we reached 2000 members! It happened a few days ago but I didn't want to announce it before the update. I just want to give a massive thanks for everyone in the LB community, I really though LB would never ever get this big and you guys have proven me wrong. To celebrate these two milestones of LB, we are running a 25% OFF discount on donor ranks! Just use: 25OFF

on checkout and it will automatically deduct 25% off the rank your purchasing. This works for ranks as well as rank upgrades. This offer ends 25th of March. (Monday EST )

Secondly, many of you have been asking about the donor money. Don't worry, you guys will be receiving the money in-game after you follow these steps!

But it must be on LegendaryBane server for us to see and claim that you built it. The winner of this will get a free rank up, some extra cash. This building contest will end April 26th, (Friday EST) Staff and I will be judging which builds are the most creative and unique.

Official 1.5 update and map wipe date!

Hey LB.

You're probably tired from reading so many news post now but just wanted to keep you guys updated about 1.5 and the map wipe. I am happy to announce that, you are safe to UPDATE your clients to 1.5! However, we are currently on a custom craftbukkit and 1.5 items and features are not yet working as of now but you are able to join with the 1.5. I highly recommend you to not try out the new things until I say it is safe to do so. ( Your client may crash if you do )

Now, the part you've been waiting for...the map wipe will be on a Saturday, 5pm EST American time. If you still don't know when the reset is, there's a clock on the right of this post which will have a countdown to the map wipe. Chests, houses, money, everything will be wiped. The only things that will not be wiped are ranks and its perks. I plan to spice up the donor ranks when 1.5 comes out so sit tight donors.

1.5 is coming out today and I just want you guys to be notified of what will happen in regards of the map wipe and when the server will be updated. As far as I know, there is no current 1.5 craftbukkit build that is coming out as soon as 1.5 comes out. So you know what this means, DON'T update your clients when it says if you still want to continue to play on LB! However, I will try to search for a working craftbukkit build for 1.5

Hey LB.

I know February hasn't been a great success in terms of donations and our player base. To be honest, I don't blame you guys, I haven't put much effort into the server lately as I use too due to school commitments and just life in general.

Now, 1.5 is on the verge of coming out. ( March 13th ). I have decided along with the majority of our community, we will be having a MAP WIPE. That means everything, balance, houses, chests etc. I have realised that we will be better off starting fresh and fixing the problems I have made in the pass. The new LB will be called, LB 2.0. I know some of you will be mad and leave. I completely respect that but please just leave instead of bitching in the comments or shoutbox, my decision has been made and I will not change it so you'll be wasting your time if you complain.

On to a more positive thing, I will be announcing the monthly top voters of February!

Now, about the announcements. Mainly about the whole map wipe rumor, new website look, and overall how things are. So, without further ado, the announcements.

The map wipe. A lot of people are freaking out about it because someone made a thread about it and everybody thought it was a big deal. But, it's not really a big deal until either Harry or I announce it. I don't even know if there will be a main world map wipe, I do know however that there will be a nether map wipe when 1.5 is released. So all you nether builders, sorry.

Aaaaaand the website, how ya guys like it? Simple but sexy as I like to call it. I'm not going to be updating it for a long while, maybe even never again. So... Yea.

Finally, how are things? Good, bad, I dunno. We need feedback from you guys! I know there is a little lag here and there on the server, but that's because the world file is 2GB. That is insane when you think about it. That's as much as, roughly 2-3 movies, or over 400 MP3 songs. Just think about that for a minute. That's why there is lag. But, anywho, I'd like to hear feedback from you guys, as it helps us out, as a staff team to fix problems and bugs and yada yada like that. That's basically it. See ya Legends!

Re-Doing The Site

It is yet again that time again. I keep being unsatisfactory with my work, and I think it's just because I keep rushing through it. I am going to sit down for a couple days, instead of a couple hours, and incorporate everything into a set amount of pages, instead of having everything flying around everywhere. Hopefully this will turn out the way I want it. That 'tis be all.

Alright guys as some of you know I am going to be leaving for Basic Military Training in a few weeks. This means that I will basically have to resign from my spot as Head-Admin because I will be gone for 10 weeks or more. That being said I think it is time for Legendary Bane to get some more staff members. I know most of you will agree. Please take some time and make an appropriate application if you are interested.
